将美国梦展现的淋漓尽致的文学作品和电影《了不起的盖茨比》中贯穿始终的意象绿光,被赋予了盖茨比对自己理想至死不渝的追求,而当理想遭遇现实时,梦想破碎,绿光背后的意义也在那一刻消失了。同样是追梦,中国影片《煎饼侠》却与其不同。2012年中国梦被提出,在数亿中国人为之奋斗的同时,2015年上映的影片《煎饼侠》讲述了主人公大鹏在人生低谷时期带着梦想和一同追梦的伙伴圆梦的故事。煎饼侠战服在片中的出现寓意了梦想的开始到遭受挫折直到大鹏英雄梦的实现。本文对《了不起的盖茨比》和《煎饼侠》两部影片中蕴含深刻寓意的两个意象进行比较分析。通过梦想与意象的结合,两个主人公不同的追梦历程、不同的命运归宿,折射出美国与中国不同的历史文明进程、不同的梦想观念和理想追求。
The most vivid image of the American Dream and the glorious image in the movie The Great Gatsby are endowed with Gatsby’s persistent pursuit of his ideal. When the ideal meets the reality, the dream Broken, the meaning behind the green disappeared at that moment. The same is the dream, Chinese film “pancake man” is different from it. In 2012, when the dream of China was proposed and struggled by hundreds of millions of Chinese people, the film “Pancake Man” released in 2015 tells the story of the protagonist Dapeng dreaming of his dreams and dream catchers in the trough of his life. The appearance of pancake war vest in the film implies the beginning of the dream to the setback until the heroic dream of Dapeng. This article compares and analyzes the two images in the two films “The Great Gatsby” and “Pancake Man” with deep meaning. Through the combination of dreams and images, the different course of dreams and fate of the two protagonists reflects the different historical and civilized processes of the United States and China, different dreams and ideal pursuits.
