摆在当代花鸟画家面前的巨大任务,是创造符合时代要求和当代审美取向的新花鸟画作品,面临这一命题,仅有挑战意识是不能解决问题的,一味求新逐异也不成功。实践表明:新观念、新命题要融合和升华为新的形式、语言与新的图式,才能体现新的美感与新的境界,这当然需要一个更加艰难的探索过程。庞舜尧的作品,体现的正是这种努力,他的作品打开了全新的审美视角,充满了生机活力与可喜的“少年意气”。
The great task facing contemporary flower-and-bird painters is to create new flower and bird paintings that meet the requirements of the times and contemporary aesthetic orientation. Faced with this proposition, only the challenge awareness can not solve the problem, and the blind pursuit of new and evidently unsuccessful. Practice shows that if new ideas and new propositions are to be merged and sublimated into new forms, languages and new schemas in order to embody new aesthetic and new realms, this certainly requires a more difficult exploration process. Pang Shun-yao’s works embody such endeavors. His works open up a completely new aesthetic perspective and are full of vitality and gratification.
