农业机械化是农业现代化的基本内容。二十多年来,我国农机化事业的成就是肯定的,1978年达到了平均每台大中型拖拉机负担耕地面积二千六百九十亩的水平,高于苏联1953年的水平,稍低于美国1940年的水平。但从效果上来看,苏联在1953年、美国在1940年都基本实现了农机化,苏联用了二十四年时间(还包括五年卫国战争),美国用了三十年的时间,而我国如从1955年算起,已用去二十四年时间了,至今离基本实现还差相当大的距离。在过去十二几年中,我们制订过不少规划,做了大量的工作,耗费了不少资金和钢铁,
Agricultural mechanization is the basic content of agricultural modernization. For more than two decades, the achievements made in the agricultural mechanization of our country have been affirmative. In 1978, an average of 2,690 mu of cultivated land per large and medium-sized tractor was reached, much higher than the level of the Soviet Union in 1953 and slightly lower than that of the United States 1940 level. However, from the effect point of view, the Soviet Union basically realized the agricultural mechanization in 1953 and the United States in 1940. The Soviet Union took 24 years (including the five-year Patriotic War) and the United States spent 30 years. If our country counted from 1955, it has taken up to twenty-four years and so far it has still fallen quite a long way from its basic realization.
