如果把档案检索体系看作一个系统工程的话,那么分类检索系统的建设是其中的一个重要方面。在大力开发档案信息资源的今天,档案分类目录正越来越受到各方面的欢迎,各级各类档案馆都将分类目录的建立置于重要地位。 档案分类目录,通过运用逻辑分类原理,对档案文献信息进行系统化组织,比较起以责任者为主要检索对象的全宗检索目录来,更为先进,它更能满足带着某一方面问题来查询档案的读者的需要,并为建立专题性检索工具奠定基础。但是,由于分类目录的编撰涉及对档案分类法的理解、档案主题分析以及分类规则的运用等因素,档案的分类标引历来是档案著录标引中的一个难点,而历史档案的分类标引更是盲点不少,疑难殊多。笔者根据从事分类标引历史档案的实践,对一般影响、制约历史档案分类标引质量的原因和相应的对策,提几点粗浅的看法,以供参考。
