The earliest use of heat-insulated tubing in the oil industry was in the late 1960s in the Alaska field in the permafrost zone. To reduce the heat transfer of the produced crude to the wellbore, insulated tubing was used to produce oil. By the late 1970s, injected steam insulated oil pipes for heavy oil production were widely used. The use of heat-insulated tubing when the loss of wellbore heat loss than the use of light-pipe steam injection to reduce more than 70%, but also to protect the casing from high temperature damage. Deep well injection steam injection pressure up to 16.5MPa, temperature up to 350 ℃. There are also restrictions on the diameter of the bushing, high performance requirements for the design of insulated tubing, and promote the scientific research of the insulated pipe.
