云龙镇地处海口市的中北部、南渡江下游东岸,属于热带海洋气候,全年日照时间长,辐射能量大,对发展水稻生产有得天独厚的条件。我镇系粮食主产镇,现有水稻田面积达590hm2,双季稻制,年水稻种植面积达1180hm2,常年晚季平均产量不足6000kg/hm2。杂交水稻具有明显的杂种优势,是我镇提高水稻产量的重要手段,因此,我镇在发展水稻生产上始终注重于杂交水稻新品种的引试与推广工作,2013年晚季我镇开始引进了
