Public key cryptography is not yet widely accepted for commercial applications so far. In the personal computer industry, there are several commercially available public key encryption products that are not particularly good for sale. One of the reasons for this situation is that public key cryptography is not yet known to all, so its value has not been understood by the industry, and the situation will improve over time.
