实验哲学是近年来兴起的一场哲学运动。它试图运用社会科学、认知科学等领域的实证方法探究普通大众对一些具有普遍共识的哲学命题或理论的直觉判断,通过经验数据的分析,或质疑或验证这些命题或理论的合理性;抑或是透过直觉判断,探究人们的心理机制和认知模式。作为一种方法论变革,实验哲学试图给哲学家的工具箱里增添一套助探式工具,帮助他们更好地研究哲学。
Experimental philosophy is a philosophical movement that has arisen in recent years. It attempts to explore the general public’s intuitive judgment of some universally agreed philosophical propositions or theories by using empirical methods in fields such as social sciences and cognitive sciences, to analyze or question or verify the reasonableness of these propositions or theories, or Through intuition, we explore people’s psychological mechanisms and cognitive modes. As a methodological change, experimental philosophy tries to add a set of tools to help philosophers to help them better study philosophy.
