Aminoglycoside antibiotics are commonly used in newborns, but there are few reports of the distribution of these drugs in different tissues. The authors report the autopsy of 20 neonates and 2 infants who had received aminoglycoside antibiotics The detected concentrations of ethyl muscarin and gentamicin in different tissues (see table 1 on the next page) indicate the accumulation of aminoglycoside antibiotics in certain organs of the newborn
