长江三峡是一道亮丽的文化长廊;西陵峡中的石刻艺术,则是三峡文化长廊中绚丽的篇章。公元2003年,长江三峡工程将蓄水发电,峡江中的石刻多数将被淹没。于是,我便萌动了踏寻峡江石刻,拍摄图片资料的想法。当2002年刚刚到来的时候,我约了在文化部门工作多年的老何以及另外两位酷爱摄影艺术的同事作伴,沿着西陵峡,由上而下,徒步西陵峡岸,寻找和拍摄峡江石刻。我们的行程是从西陵峡上段的泄滩乡牛口小镇
The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is a beautiful cultural promenade. The stone carving in the Xiling Gorge is a magnificent chapter in the Three Gorges Cultural Corridor. In 2003 AD, the Yangtze River Three Gorges Project will generate electricity storage, most of the stone in the Xiajiang River will be inundated. So, I will germinate Xia Xun Xiajiang stone carving, the idea of taking pictures of the information. When I first arrived in 2002, I interviewed Lao Ho, who has worked in the cultural sector for many years, and two other colleagues who are fond of photographic art.
