发表于《植物生理学通讯》1983年第4期的石文同志的“书评”,是一篇评价不当、有失公允的书评。一本教材出版了,引起一些评论本来是正常的事。这有助于克服谬误,发展真理,促进科学文化事业的繁荣。但石文同志的书评却不能视为正常的评论。他用七千字的篇幅对杨学荣同志主编的《植物生理学》试用教材,仅从内容处理和前五章中,列举41条所谓“比较重要的错误”,就据此否定全书,不仅建议停止发售,还要出版社收回该书,不再重版。这就越出了正常评论的范围。我们认为这不是慎重的严肃的态度. 杨编教材中的谬误果真严重到如此地步吗?下面,且就石文同志所列举的各条略加讨论。
The Book Review, written by Comrade Shi Wen, published in Plant Physiology Newsletter, No. 4, 1983, is an inappropriate and unfair book review.
