我院理科方面的科学研究工作是从七十年代初期开始恢复的.粉碎“四人帮”以后,特别是三中全会以来,我院的科研工作,无论从广度和深度上都有一个较大的发展.承担的项目逐年增多,条件逐步有所改善,研究机构相继建立,科研队伍有所发展,取得了一批成果.如水稻激光育种、微生物菌种保藏技术、高分子粘胶剂、棉田草蛉及蜘蛛的生态、草蛉人工饲料及造型、淡水藻类、压电陶瓷变压器、最优中学教学方式实验法等.有的在生产上得到了应用;有的在社会上得到推广;有的引起学术界的重视;有的得到国家和省市人民政政的奖励.
