今年开始国务院扶贫开发领导小组办公室负责组织、协调和指导全国革命老区建设工作。国务院扶贫开发领导小组办公室在政策法规司加挂革命老区工作办公室牌子,新成立的革命老区工作办公室将统筹全国老区发展大计,统一组织、协调和指导革命老区建设工作,彻底改变老区工作无专门机构管理、无专职人员推动的尴尬局面。在此之前,一些地方已经认识到,可靠的组织保证是搞好老区工作的关键,他们在老区建设中已经迈出了这关键的一步。
