大学英语教学不仅是语言教学,还包括文化教学。大学英语词汇教学单纯传授词汇涵义而忽略文化内涵必然不符合英语词汇教学的宗旨。为了能够让学生顺利地进行交际,作为大学英语教学的基本环节,词汇教学应重视文化因素的介入。
College English teaching is not only a language teaching, but also a cultural teaching. College English vocabulary teaching simply to impart the meaning of vocabulary while ignoring the cultural connotation inevitably does not meet the purpose of English vocabulary teaching. In order to enable students to successfully communicate, as the basic part of college English teaching, vocabulary teaching should pay attention to the involvement of cultural factors.
