3月19—21日在广州召开了两年一度的中南区核农技术学术交流会。参加会议的代表来自中南6省(区)的25个科研机构和高等院校。江苏农科院原子能所的代表应邀出席。会议收到论文36篇,其中16篇作了大会交流。这些论文在深度和广度上都有所进展。水稻、小麦、玉米、甘蔗等作物辐射育种取得了新的成绩。河南南阳地区选育的高产抗病小麦品种、湖北荆州地区培育的适应性广的水稻鄂荆糯6号品种、广西崇左县育成的高产、高蛋白饲料玉米品种等,都已在生产上应用。花卉、大豆、咖啡等诱变育种也有可喜结果。除医药卫生械材的灭菌消毒以外,辐射保藏技术已应用于免肉、湘莲、椰枣、猕猴桃、红枣、腐竹、百合等农副产品。中成药活心丸的辐射灭菌取得了显著的经济效益和社会效益。辐照技术开发服务
March 19-21 held in Guangzhou, a biennial Zhongnanqu nuclear technology seminar. Delegates attending the conference came from 25 scientific research institutes and institutions of higher learning in six provinces (autonomous regions) of Central South China. Representatives of the Atomic Energy Agency of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences were invited to attend. The conference received 36 papers, of which 16 made a conference exchange. Flowers, soybeans, coffee and other mutagenic breeding also have gratifying results. In addition to the sterilization of medical and health materials, radiation preservation technology has been applied to meat, Xianglian, date, kiwi, red dates, yuba, lilies and other agricultural and sideline products.
