The National Gallery of Singapore announced that the forthcoming exhibition will feature nearly 1,000 national collections of art pieces and important foreign loan works, and will showcase two narrative epic of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia at two permanent exhibitions. The National Gallery of Singapore officially opened to the public on November 24 and became the first public art museum in the world to showcase, promote and study the development of Southeast Asian art from the 19th century to the present. The gallery also has a gallery of Wu Guanzhong and a special exhibition hall featuring art collaborations with international art galleries such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Pompidou Center and the Orsay Museum
