The task of eye movement is often used to study the function of the frontal lobe striatum. Delayed eye movements can effectively separate the working memory and inhibit the executive function of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Forty-eight children (11 ADHD-I, 19 ADHD-C, and 18 controls) completed two experimental tasks: forward eye movement and delayed eye movement. The results showed that: (1) The ADHD children had the impairment of function impairment, and delayed the error rate of the control group in eye movement. The delay time lengthened the error rate of ADHD group significantly, but did not affect the error rate of the control group. (2) Children with ADHD had some memory impairment in working space, poor accuracy in delayed eye movement in ADHD group, and the longer the delay was, the more significant difference was between groups. (3) ADHD children have longer response time and slower eye movement velocity.
