4月初的一天,北京丰台区芳古园二小的教师和丰台区东铁营环卫所的党员职工们,来到万安公墓,纪念李大钊烈士。这是两家单位联合举行的党日活动,旨在对党员及入党积极分子进行一次“重温誓言,坚定信念”的思想教育。就在李大钊纪念馆的第二展室,大家进行了座谈这个座谈会,没有茶水,甚至没有桌椅,大家席地而坐,相互间的交流却格外真诚。作为一名青年记者,我应邀参加这次党日活动,除完成报道任务外,更难忘的是在思想上接受了一次坚定信念的洗礼。三年前我递交了入党申请书,当时动机很单纯,只是对党组织有一种向往之情,并不真懂共产主义信念的意义。甚至,当我看到一些党内高级干部的腐化堕落及身边一些党员不尽如人意的表现时,一度怀疑过党组织的先进性。如今,听了他们情真意切的话语,我对自己的追求不再感到迷茫。

I submitted the application for joining the party three years ago. At that time, the motive was very simple. It only showed a yearning for the party organizations and did not really understand the meaning of communist beliefs. Even when I saw some corrupt and corrupt senior cadres in the party and the unsatisfactory performance of some party members around me, I once doubted the advanced nature of the party organization. Now, listening to their true words, I am no longer confused about their own pursuit.
