厂矿卫生处(科)是厂矿企业的卫生管理部门,是企业所属卫生系统的首脑机关,是厂、矿长、经理管理本企业医疗卫生工作的参谋指挥机构。它担负着贯彻执行党和国家卫生工作方针政策,调动广大医务人员积极性、保护职工身体健康、促进生产建设发展的重任,这是众所周知的。但是,厂矿卫生处(科)的职能究竟有哪些?在治理整顿深化改革的今天。如何通过这些职能作用的发挥来提高管理水平。实现厂矿企业卫生保键的总目标?仍有许多急需探讨,急待解决的问题。我们认为,厂矿卫生处(科)的基本职能,可以用三句话概括,那就是建立科学合理的保健组织;制定全面周密的工作计划和实行适度有效的监督控制。
