在农村,组织和带领群众奔小康的过程,实质上也就是基层党组织领导广大农民群众逐步实现共同富裕、沿着建设有中国特色的社会主义新农村的道路不断前进的过程。它不仅要求农村党员、干部和群众实现从小农经济意识到社会主义市场经济意识的转变,而且要求农村基层组织的领导方式和工作方法以及自身建设的目标都能与深化农村改革、加快社会主义市场经济发展、组织群众实现小康目标相适应。为把农村基层党组织建设成为带领群众奔小康的坚强领导核心,根据党的十四大精神,当前应着力做好以下几项工作:

In order to build the rural grass-roots party organizations into a strong leading core that leads the masses to run well, we should, at the moment, focus on the following tasks according to the spirit of the 14th CPC National Congress:
