人工神经网络是一种模仿生物脑结构和功能的信息处理系统,该技术在多个医学领域的应用研究已取得一定进展。目前应用于口腔医学领域的神经网络模型主要有4种:反向传播神经网络、广义回归神经网络、模糊神经网络以及概率神经网络。近年研究表明,人工神经网络在口腔癌高危人群筛检、口腔癌及癌前病变细胞因子变化、口腔黏膜脱落细胞涂片检查、划分口腔黏膜下纤维化的进展阶段、组织自发荧光光谱分析以及协助制定下颌第三磨牙的临床诊疗计划等方面具有较好的应用前景。
