中国是社会主义国家。主要的生产资料是以全民所有制为基础,人民是国家的主人。为要实现本世纪末工农业总产值翻两番的战略目标,加快“四化”建设的步伐,除提高生产水平外,发挥人的主观能动性,加强管理是很重要的。当前,在管理体制改革的过程中,国外许多管理科学和方法被介绍到中国来,使国内管理出现各种变革,对促进我国管理现代化是很有利的。怎样把吸收国外先进的管理科学理论、方法和经验与继承和发扬我国传统的科学管理理论、方法和经验有机地结合起来,建立适合中国实际的经济管理科学理论体系实在是当务之急。

In order to achieve the goal of quadrupling the total output value of industry and agriculture at the end of the century, we must accelerate the pace of “four modernizations”. In addition to improving production levels, it is important to give full play to people’s subjective initiative and strengthen management. At present, during the process of the reform of the management system, many foreign management sciences and methods have been introduced to China, which has brought about various changes in domestic management and is very beneficial to the modernization of management in our country. How to combine the absorption of foreign advanced management science theories, methods, and experiences with the inheritance and development of China’s traditional scientific management theories, methods, and experiences, and establish a scientific theoretical system for economic management that suits China’s reality is an urgent task.
