模拟是设计一个系统或一个过程的计算机模型的方法,目的是了解其行为并制订控制其运行的策略。模拟模型正迅速成为选矿厂的一种有效控制手段。获取功能强的软件和速度快的硬件比基本弄懂过程模拟模型所要求的数学概率和应用统计学的理论要容易一些。简单的扩展片软件能够用于开发考虑到一个选矿厂任何一组条件的模拟模型。除了对两个和三个产品公式所依据的一组变量中的每个变量进行无偏估计而外,还需要对所有的变量进行可靠的方差估计。如何有效地并以尽可能低的成本估计方差,以及如何计算象一定量矿石或精矿的金属含量这样简单的函数,或象选矿厂回收率这样较复杂的函数的方差,是有效的模拟模型的关键。
Simulation is the process of designing a computer model of a system or process in order to understand its behavior and to devise strategies to control its operation. Simulation models are rapidly becoming an effective control of the concentrator. Acquiring powerful software and faster hardware is easier than simply understanding the mathematical and application statistics theories required for process simulation models. Simple extension software can be used to develop simulation models that take into account any set of conditions in a concentrator. In addition to making an unbiased estimate of each of a set of variables on which two and three product formulas are based, a reliable variance estimate of all variables is required. How to estimate the variance effectively and at the lowest possible cost, and how to calculate simple functions such as the metal content of a given amount of ore or concentrate, or the variances of more complex functions like concentrator recovery rates, is an effective simulation model key.
