Studies on the antibacterial activity of the product that cobalt(Ⅲ)complexes of 5,7,7,12,14,14 hexamethyl 1,4,8,11 tetra azacyclotetradeca 4,11 diene reacted with imidazole and metronidazolum were described.We found that the macrocyclic cobalt complex could react with imidazole,metronidazolum and formalized a new axial complex.Thermodynamic equilibrium constant of the reaction K and the thermodynamic parameter of the reaction Δ r H 0? 璵,Δ r S 0? 璵 were calculated by the spectroscopy method.The new macrocyclic cobalt imidazole complex could restrain growth of penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
