金秋十月,正是玉米收获的季节。山东德州禹城市张庄镇后黄村的张保东站在地头,望着大片成熟的玉米和三辆驰骋在田里的雷沃谷神玉米收割机,满带笑容地向笔者讲述着他的故事。山东禹城有着“中国功能糖城”的称号,功能糖很多都是以玉米和玉米芯为原料加工而成的,禹城人充分利用当地的地形、气候和丰富的玉米资源,打造了玉米深加工产业链条,使玉米及玉米芯的需求量不断增加,价格也维持在较高的水平,大大激发了农民种粮的积极性。一部分禹城人瞄准市场契机,适时引进农机,实行农业机械化作业,不但自己发家致富,也带动了这个小城农业机械化的发展。
