吉林省双辽市农机校始建于1974年。几十年来培训驾驶员5 000多名,为双辽市农机事业作出了一定贡献。但是前些年由于受传统观念的束缚,农机培训工作始终摆脱不了旧的教学模式,使农机培训工作走向了低潮,驾驶员年培训量始终徘徊在300人左右,学校经济也十分拮据。1995年3月,市农机局调整了校领导班子。
