对于中国文学作历史性的研究,自古有之。像《汉书·艺文志》那样,已经颇成体统。但作为具有现代意义的“中国文学史”著作,是在19世纪末、20世纪初才产生的。据郑振铎《插图本中国文学史》等说,中国最早编写《历朝文学史》的是窦警凡,似为光绪二十三年(1897)编讫,但此书目前已难觅见。现存最早的是南黄(人)北林(传甲)同时于1904年开笔编写的《中国文学史》。而西方与日本的一些学者,大概是由于较早地接受了西方文明及其编史体例薰
For the history of Chinese literature for a long time. Like “Han Yi Wen Zhi” as it has quite a system. However, as a book of “modern Chinese literature history” with modern significance, it was produced only in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. According to Zheng Zhenduo’s Illustrated History of Chinese Literature, the earliest written history of the history of the dynasties in China was sinus police who appeared to have compiled it in the 23rd year of Guangxu (1897).
