日本三菱电机公司于1996年5月在横浜市举行隆重典礼,以庆贺其电火花加工机床累计产量突破3万台。该公司原来主要生产大型电机。电火花加工机床的生产是从1964年开始的,在长期的生产过程中累积了大量的电气应用技术、组合加工技术和批量生产技术。1952年日本中央研究所开始研究电火花加工,1957年三菱电机研制成功高频重叠电容方式的电火花加工机床。其电源由本公司制造,而机械部分由三菱重工公司制造。1963年三菱重工移交了机械部分的生产,并在名古屋制作所制成了连续生产的第一台DIAX DM—201型电火花成形机,1964年又进一步开发了晶体管低损耗电源,从此开始了向3万台产量方向发展。
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan held a grand ceremony in Yokohama City in May 1996 to celebrate its cumulative output of EDM machines that exceeded 30,000 units. The company originally produced large motors. The production of EDM machine tools started in 1964. During the long-term production process, a large number of electrical application technologies, combined processing technologies and mass production technologies have been accumulated. In 1952, the Japan Central Research Institute began researching EDM. In 1957, Mitsubishi Electric developed a high-frequency EDM machine with overlapping capacitors. Its power supply is manufactured by the company, and its mechanical part is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In 1963, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries transferred the production of the mechanical part and made the first continuous production of the DIAX DM-201 EDM in Nagoya. In 1964, it further developed the transistor low-loss power supply. The output of 30,000 units is in the direction of development.
