近年世界经济的波动使石油的拥价滚跌到12美元／桶以下的低位，石油比瓶装水还便宜的严峻形势给我国石油工业造成了强烈的冲击，在销售额和利润明显降低的情况下，石油公司对勘探的投资能力受到极大制约，我们海洋石油也不例外，勘探投资由1998年初的15个亿减少到目前的6个亿。
In recent years, the fluctuation of the world economy has caused the price of oil to roll down to a low level below US$12/barrel. The grim situation in which oil is cheaper than bottled water has caused a strong impact on China’s oil industry, with sales and profits significantly reduced. The ability of oil companies to invest in exploration has been greatly constrained. Our offshore oil industry is no exception. Exploration investment has decreased from 1.5 billion in early 1998 to the current 6 billion.
