阅读课教学是初中英语课堂教学的重要组成部分,着重培养学生阅读技巧及学生对文章主题思想等深层次阅读能力。传统的阅读课教学模式只是把文章作为载体而单纯地向学生传授语法和语言知识从而进行“满堂灌”的教学方式。“PCEC”阅读课“四步”教学模式即“感知体验(Perception)-综合理解(Comprehension)-语言提炼(Extraction)-情景交际(Communication)”以学生为主体,充分调动学生课堂思维的积极性和主动性,侧重培养学生的阅读技巧和阅读能力,从而提高学生语言应用能力。
