I. General Impressions of the Soil and Water Conservation Stations in the Yellow River Basin: During the summer of 1956 in the Yellow River basin, we learned about four pilot stations (located in Tianshui County, Qingyang County, Gansu Province, Suide County in Shaanxi Province and Lianshan County in Shanxi Province ). At the same time also understand the Yulin area and Yan’an area two soil and water conservation promotion station. These stations are located in areas of different natural conditions in the middle reaches of the Yellow River.
