告别“SOS”1988年11月11日,国际海事组织(IMO)决定,从1992年开始,实施全球海上遇险与安全系统(英文缩写为GMDSS),以取代1899年以来海事活动中普遍使用的莫尔斯无线电报系统。决定还指出,1999年以后,世界上所有船舶都有义务使用GMDSS系统。到那时,莫尔斯电报系统将以100周年满役,作为海难呼救信号的“SOS”也将与海洋告别。
Farewell to “SOS” November 11, 1988, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) decided that from 1992 onwards, the implementation of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (abbreviated as GMDSS), to replace the common maritime activities since 1899 Mo Els wireless telegraph system. The decision also states that after 1999 all ships in the world are obliged to use the GMDSS system.
