医德评价是依据一定的道德要求和标准,对医务人员或医疗卫生单位的行为和活动所作的一种优劣判断。确定医德评价的标准,开展医德评价,形成一定的社会舆论,是一种无形的精神力量。它将对于促进医务道德的提高、形成高尚的医德风尚、推动医学科学发展和加速社会主义精神文明的建设有着重要的意义。然而,由于医务人员所处的时代不同,则医学科学水平、医疗实践经历等方面存在着许多差别,这就形成了对医疗行为评价上的差别。例如,对堕胎的道德是非问题,历史上几经反复,至今世界上仍未能一致。即使在我们今天的国度里,出现的一些医疗差错事故,也常有彼此截然相反的看法。这说明,医德评价存在着道德是非的标准问题。
The evaluation of medical ethics is a judgment of the merits and demerits of the behaviors and activities of medical personnel or medical and health units according to certain moral requirements and standards.
