渭南县在关中平原。全县五个区,三十四个公社,五百个大队,五十七万七千多人口。在毛主席革命路线指引下,一九七○年五月大部分大队实行了合作医疗,办起了合作医疗站。一九七一年有些大队合作医疗出现反复。在整顿巩固合作医疗的过程中,我们发现:有的赤脚医生没有经过系统的正式培训;有的不会使用中草药;有的因为没有赤脚医生,合作医疗站迟迟办不起来。这些事实使我们体会到,培训赤脚医生,是办好合作医疗的一个重要问题。
Funan County is in the Guanzhong Plain. The county has five districts, 34 communes, 500 brigades, and a population of 577,000. Under the guidance of Chairman Mao’s revolutionary route, in May 1970 most brigades implemented cooperative medical care and established cooperative medical stations. In 1971, some brigades and cooperative medical services were repeated. In the process of rectifying and consolidating the cooperative medical care, we discovered that some barefoot doctors did not receive formal training in the system; some did not use Chinese herbal medicines; some did not have a barefoot doctor and the cooperating medical station could not be implemented. These facts have made us realize that training barefoot doctors is an important issue in managing cooperative medical care.
