历史文化名城是我国悠久历史和灿烂文化的主要载体 ,名城的人文旅游资源基本上体现了中国旅游资源的特性、价值和影响。实践证明 ,名城是我国海内外旅游者的主要集散地和消费中心 ,是我国发展旅游业的基础 ,在创建文明风景旅游区和中国优秀旅游城市中也发挥了重要的作用 ,取得明显的成效。展望新世纪 ,应进一步巩固和提高名城在我国旅游业中的重要地位 ,充分挖掘其资源的潜力 ,更加突出名城的历史文化内涵 ;把发展旅游业与保护名城固有的特点有机地结合起来
The historical and cultural city is the main carrier of our country’s long history and splendid culture. The humanistic tourism resources in the famous city basically embody the characteristics, value and influence of China’s tourism resources. Practice has proved that the famous city is the main distribution center and consumer center of tourists at home and abroad in our country. It is the basis of developing tourism in our country. It has also played an important role in creating a civilized scenic tourist area and an excellent tourist city in China and has achieved remarkable results. Looking forward to the new century, we should further consolidate and enhance the city’s important position in the tourism industry in our country, fully exploit the potential of its resources, and highlight the historic and cultural connotation of the famous city; organically integrate the development of tourism with the inherent features of protecting the famous city
