Determination of sulfate in environmental water samples, usually using the gravimetric method and turbidimetric method, but the weight method is cumbersome, turbidimetric error, practical restrictions. Based on the tetrabenzene sodium potentiometric titration of barium, we further discussed the method of determining the sulfate radical in environmental water samples by the reverse drip method. The factors that affect the accuracy and precision of the results are discussed. This method can determine 62.5μg to 25mg sulfate. The method has good precision and good accuracy. When the content of sulfate ion is 1.274mg, the coefficient of variation is 0.3%
