有清一代,法律教育极为不发达。法律教育的落后直接影响到传统法律制度的发展。鸦片战争时期,由于法制的落后,让清政府无力采用法律武器来捍卫国家主权,并且在外交过程中处于极为严重的劣势。
A generation of law education is extremely underdeveloped. The backward legal education directly affects the development of the traditional legal system. During the Opium War, due to the backwardness of the legal system, the Qing government was unable to use legal weapons to defend its national sovereignty and was at an extremely serious disadvantage in the diplomatic process.
