秃杉(Taiwania flousiana Gaussen)俗名台湾杉,杉科,台湾杉属。珍稀濒金危,1975年被农林部列为全国第一类保护树种。常绿乔木,高可47m.胸径1.5m,分布于云南怒江至金沙江流域、湖北西部和贵州东南部。我县主要分布于白道、展么公社,在太拥、久仅、久仰等地有零星分布。秃杉树干耸直,冠形美观,枝叶浓密苍翠,可作庭园观赏;心边材、早晚材明显,呈紫红或紫红褐色,并具光泽.又是较好的家具和装饰用材。
Taiwania flousiana Gaussen (Taiwania flousiana Gaussen) commonly known as Taiwan fir, Cedar, Taiwanis.
