道情,是曲艺说唱的一种形式。追溯它的渊源,是出于道教宣扬道家思想的一种清唱曲,最早产生于唐代。至宋代,有用渔鼓、简板等乐器帮助打拍子伴奏的。清代一些诗人、作家曾用道情的形式写过不少作品,郑燮就写过十首道情歌词,依次是:老渔翁、老樵夫、老头陀、老道人、老书生、小乞儿、掩柴扉、邈唐虞、吊龙蓬、拨琵琶。唱词对历史发表感慨,对现实中各种人物勾画描写,借以抒怀遣兴,文笔洒脱,音韵丰富多变。
