位于210国道延安以南20公里处的湫沿山,是革命圣地延安通往西安的必经之地。这里山大沟深,森林茂密,自然条件恶劣。1937年4月下旬的一天,周恩来同志根据党中央的决定,前往南京等地与国民党代表谈判,当他和张云逸等一行乘车翻越湫沿山隘口后,被埋伏在东侧山坡一带100多名国民党匪徒袭击,经过红军指战员的共同奋战,周恩来等才安然脱险。解放后,这段路虽经多次改造,但由于地理环境和经费不足等原因,这里依然存在着道路条件差,交通不畅,事故多等问题。1995
