Cellular and Personal Mobile Telecommunication Systems (PCS) require a large number of widely deployed antenna towers, base stations, wired or microwave lines and relatively few ground-based facilities for satellite communication systems. However, the user terminals of the GEO system are bulky and expensive with large signal delays. The MEO and The rapid movement of LEO satellites relative to the ground complicates the composition and control of the system and the high cost of satellite launch and maintenance. High-altitude aeronautical platform (HAAP) wireless communication system (ie, stratospheric communication) is actually a compromise solution, this article discusses the characteristics of such communications systems and the possibility of implementation.
