随着液体闪烁测量技术的发展,液体闪烁计数器也在不断发展。自从双管符合型液体闪烁计数器问世以来,液体闪烁计数器的性能及功能有了巨大的发展,但其基本测量原理仍然采用双管符合测量。采用双管符合测量的好处在于降低了常温下光电倍增管噪声对本底的贡献,而测量效率却没有损失。双管符合型液体闪烁计数器光电倍增管噪声对本底的贡献(噪声偶然符合计数)由下式决定
With the development of liquid scintillation measurement techniques, liquid scintillation counters are also evolving. The performance and function of the liquid scintillation counter have seen tremendous growth since the advent of dual-fits liquid scintillation counters, but their basic measurement principle still uses double-tube compliance measurements. The benefit of using two-tube compliance measurement is that it reduces the background contribution of photomultiplier tube noise at room temperature without loss of measurement efficiency.
