苏联郭留诺夫SG437.62mm重机枪(Cг43是其俄文型号)在二战期间研制成功并大量装备苏军,取代了马克沁M1910水冷式机枪,成为德普(DP)系列轻机枪的火力补充武器。二战临近结束时,SG43重机枪又改进成SGM重机枪,这两种重机枪均作为营级武器配发。可惜的是,郭留诺夫在他设计的机枪装备部队之前就去世了,因而他生前未能享受到SG43重机枪所获得的声誉。1960年代,苏军换装PK7.62mm通用机枪,郭留诺夫SG43重机枪随之被淘汰。
The Soviet Guoluofu SG437.62mm heavy machine gun (Cг43 is its Russian model) was successfully developed during World War II and a large number of Soviet equipment, replacing the Markham M1910 water-cooled machine gun, as the Depu (DP) series light machine gun firepower supplement arms. Towards the end of World War II, the SG43 heavy machine gun was further upgraded to a SGM heavy machine gun, both of which were distributed as battalion-level weapons. Unfortunately, Guoluoluofu death in his machine-gun unit before his death, so his lifetime failed to enjoy the SG43 heavy machine gun gained reputation. In the 1960s, the Soviet Union refitted PK7.62mm general machine guns, Guoluoluofu SG43 heavy machine guns subsequently be eliminated.
