The three essays were recommended by Li Xiumei, the director of the Chinese Language Teaching and Research Office of Harbin No. 3 Middle School. From a “gate”, three distinct thoughts fly out: either associating with the philosophy of life, or using words and phrases, or chanting an ancient story to reminisce about the simplicity of the past... both revealing personal spirit and implying Zeitgeist. We admire the ability of these young authors to pursue their own way. Even if they have some imitators, they are also “borrowing their own barriers by borrowing other people’s cups.” We advocate the composition “writing alone”, that is, writing their own insights. Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, portrays the steep dangers of his imperial concubines: “The crowds will pray for 10,000 and the tang ponds will contend for one.” To write “Individualism”, one must dare to use the “risk” to dare to create his own style. May “squeeze” into the “temple” of the Temple of Literature. I hope these three budding flowers have bloomed in the Wen Yuan.
