Objective To analyze the correlation between the increase of urinary albumin and blood pressure, blood lipid and body mass index in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients. Methods A total of 41 patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes were enrolled and divided into two groups according to their urine microalbuminuria for 24 hours. The urine microalbuminuria of group A was ≥30mg and 24 cases. The urine microalbumin of group B was less than 30mg, 17 cases. Blood lipids, body mass index, for statistical analysis. Results The blood pressure (BP), body mass index (TG), cholesterol (TG) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were all higher in patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes at 24 hours of urinary microalbuminuria 24h urinary albumin normal group. Conclusion Metabolic syndrome, which has not been treated for a long time, leads to the progressive development of renal injury, which leads to the urinary albumin excess in the early stage of onset of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
