黄淮海平原是我国重要的农业区域之一,但旱、薄、盐碱和大面积次生盐渍化等自然灾害严重阻碍了该区农业的发展。1991年在中国科学院和日本文部省的大力支持下,中国科学院石家庄农业现代化研究所与日本东京大学、北海道大学签署了“黄淮海平原盐碱地治理与提高生物生产”的合作协议,经过10年(1991~2000年)合作研究取得了显著成效,对黄淮海平原盐碱土的改良,提高粮食产量和农业可持续发展作出了贡献。黄淮海平原盐碱地生物生产持续发展合作研究项目得到了中日双方的重视,中国科学院石家庄农业现代化研究所抽调了30余名科研骨干和数名研究生参加研究工作,并专门培训了一批专业技术人员负责田间试验、数据采集、分析化验和资料整理等工作;日本参加研究人员是来自东京大学、北海道大学
The Huang-Huai-Hai Plain is one of the important agricultural areas in China. However, natural disasters such as drought, thinning, salinization and large-area secondary salinization have seriously hindered the agricultural development in this area. In 1991, with the strong support from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Japanese Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shijiazhuang Institute of Agricultural Modernization signed a cooperation agreement with Tokyo University and Hokkaido University in Japan to treat and improve biological production of saline land in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain. After 10 years (1991 ~ 2000). The cooperative research has achieved remarkable results and contributed to the improvement of saline-alkali soil in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and to the improvement of grain yield and sustainable development of agriculture. The cooperation project of sustainable development of biological production of saline-alkali land in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain has been valued by both China and Japan. More than 30 research cadres and several post-graduate students have been transferred to the Research Institute of Agricultural Modernization of Chinese Academy of Sciences to take part in the research work and specially trained a group of professional and technical personnel Responsible for field experiments, data acquisition, laboratory analysis and data collation and other work; Japan to participate in the researchers from the University of Tokyo, Hokkaido University
