Peter Hall is Professor of Planning at the Institute of Community Studies and a planning professor at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning, University College London. During 1991-1994, he served as Special Advisor on Strategic Planning for the Minister for the Environment of the United Kingdom, paying particular attention to the planning of London and the southeastern regions, including the development and construction of the East Thames Corridor and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link . During 1998-1999, he was a member of the Deputy Prime Minister Urban Working Group.
