本病罕见，国外报告4000例皮肤癌中仅29例，山东医学院报告217例皮肤恶性肿瘤中有3例为皮脂腺癌，我院由1974～1995年共收治皮脂腺癌8例，一般好发于老年男性。本组病例男4例，女4例，年龄8～62岁，平均为43岁。好发于眼睑、面部及头皮多见，肿瘤常单发，表面呈黄色或橙黄色，
