中国典籍英译在本质上是一种特殊的跨文化交际活动,针对中国典籍英译的特性,本文构建出一套典籍英译译者的翻译能力模式,包括熟知中国典籍的能力、双语能力、跨文化交际能力和策略能力四个方面,各能力在策略能力的统协作用下相互作用,最终实现最大程度的文化传播。
English translation of Chinese classics is essentially a kind of special cross-cultural communication activity. According to the characteristics of English classics translation in Chinese classics, this paper constructs a set of translation ability models of English classics translators, including familiarity with Chinese classics, bilingual ability, Intercultural communication skills and strategic capabilities in four areas, each ability under the influence of the strategic capabilities of the interaction and interaction, and ultimately achieve the greatest degree of cultural transmission.
