On December 28th, 1996, the “Taiyuan - Urban Planning Achievement Exhibition of 21st Century” co-organized by Taiyuan Urban Planning and Design Administration and Taiyuan Urban Planning and Design Research Institute was grandly launched at the Taiyuan Science and Technology Museum. This planning achievement exhibition was organized in cooperation with Taiyuan City to compile a new round of cross-century urban master plans, vigorously promote city planning, and stimulate the general public’s enthusiasm to understand and participate in urban planning. The exhibition combines professionalism with popularization of publicity. The content is comprehensive and profound, and the forms are lively and diverse.
